The Dynamo have allowed three goals off of set pieces, and their expected goals value of 2.37 is second best in the league.
The Dynamo have an expected goals value of 4.36 on their offensive set pieces, meaning they would be expected to score 4.36 goals on average based on their quality of chances – fifth best in the league.
Averaging a set piece goal every other game like the Dynamo have this season is a big reason that they're second in the league with 27 goals and third in the Western Conference standings with a 7-6-2 record.
