The Houston Dash announced today that Stephanie Rice with Colonial Blue will host a concert at the Tecate Social inside BBVA Compass Stadium on Wednesday, June 28 as part of Pride Night. The evening will consist of a Dynamo and Dash doubleheader, and the performance will take place following the Dynamo vs. Sporting Kansas City game and before the Dash vs. Boston Breakers match.

Rice, 27, was a top 11 finalist on Season 12 of NBC's The Voice and released her debut album Dear Misery in 2016. The album, which included her band Colonial Blue, was named one of the top 12 albums by the Houston Chronicle. The Houston resident is also a product of the University of Houston and holds a BS in Biology. Prior to committing fulltime to music, Rice conducted HIV research and published an article in the Journal of Aids.

Fans with a ticket to the doubleheader can attend the show on the south end of the stadium. A special Pride Pack is available and includes a ticket to the doubleheader, a commemorative Dash Pride tee, access to the concert and portion of the proceeds will benefit The Montrose Center. Additionally, season ticket members that make a $15 donation will receive a Dash Pride tee and tickets from their donation will be donated to HATCH Youth, a program of The Montrose Center.

In addition to the concert, the Dash will celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month throughout June at events throughout the city, including the Gay Pride Festival. For more information on Pride Night, including the special Pride Pack ticket package, visit www.houstondashsoccer.com/pride.
