Every fan has had that experience at a game where they get to their seats, look across the venue and think to themselves, “I sure do wish I was sitting in that section over there.”
Now, thanks to a new platform provided by PogoSeat, Houston Dynamo fans headed to BBVA Compass Stadium will have a unique new opportunity to change or upgrade their seats before game day and even after they get into the building. Fans can move into shaded sections, get closer to the pitch, sit closer to friends or just find a new vantage point.
Upgrade opportunities will be posted five days prior to kickoff of each Houston Dynamo home match and available to all Dynamo fans, from long-time season ticket members to the fan attending his or her first game. Fans need only to visit HoustonDynamo.com/Upgrades or utilize the club’s Orange Rewards App.
Appropriately enough, the new mobile-friendly platform will debut at Houston’s August 12 game against San Jose, which is Social Media Night.
Pricing will vary depending on the location and value of fans’ existing tickets and the upgrade location, meaning that fans will only pay the difference between their existing seat and the new location. The new seat location will be sent to users’ mobile devices, either via their Flash Seats account or as an email with a link to download the new ticket.
The Dynamo have six remaining home games during the 2017 MLS regular season, beginning with next weekend’s match against the Earthquakes.
