Houston Dash midfielder Andressinha, defender Amber Brooks and goalkeeper Jane Campbell were named to the NWSL Team of the Month, the league announced this afternoon.

Andressinha is the first Brazilian in club history to earn this award and adds this recognition to her Week 13 NWSL Player of the Week award. The midfielder finished the month of July with two assists and a goal, helping Houston win back-to-back games (July 15 and July 22) for the first time this season.

Brooks finished the month with 14 interceptions, 18 clearances and gained possession 27 times to help Houston post its first undefeated calendar month in club history (for months with at least three games).

Campbell tallied her third shutout of the season in Houston’s 1-0 victory over Boston on July 22. The goalkeeper finished with a 0.75 goals against average in the month of July and was nominated for the NWSL Save of the Week award four times in four games.

Andressinha, Amber and Jane play at Portland this Saturday in the Lifetime NWSL Game of the Week before returning to BBVA Compass Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13 to host Becky Sauerbrunn, Sydney Leroux and FC Kansas City. The club will celebrate a special 90’s night with slap bracelets for the first 1,000 fans to enter BBVA Compass Stadium, interactive activity stations around the concourse including throwback crafts, games and more.
