Gio Chamba to headline pregame festivities on Noche Naranja

As part of the Houston Dynamo’s Noche Naranja celebration on Saturday, September 30, the popular Houston Latin music group Gio Chamba, will hit the stage at the Bud Light Beer Garden. The Beer Garden opens at 5:30 p.m. CDT and Gio Chamba will perform at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Dynamo match vs. Minnesota United FC which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. 


Gio Chamba is a duo composed of guitarist and singer Giovanny Alejandro and percussionist Coffee Guzman. Gio Chamba combines different ingredients, genres, sounds, experiences and vibes to produce a completely unique sound. During Super Bowl week in 2017, Gio Chamba performed at Super Bowl Livefestivities. That followed a tremendous run for the duo in which they performed along with artists such as Natalia Lafourcade, Los Lonely Boys, Ozomatli and many other prestigious artists. They also were named Best Dance Music Act at the 2015 Houston Press Music Awards.


The Beer Garden ticket package starts at $36 and includes entry to the Beer Garden, two pre-game drinks and a ticket to the game. The party continues inside the stadium with music and programming planned to celebrate all areas of the Houston Hispanic community and the diversity of the Dynamo roster, which includes players from Mexico, Honduras, Colombia, Panama, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina


After the final whistle, fans are encouraged to stick around for a special edition of Kroger Postgame Fireworksset to popular Latin and Tejano musical selections. Fans can also enjoy a postgame drink at the all-new Tecate Social located in the Taste of EaDo on the south end of the concourse. The Tecate Social is open for one hour after the game ends and alcohol sales resume approximately 15 minutes after the final whistle.
