  • The Dynamo outshot Minnesota United FC 19-8 in the game. It marked the 18th time this season that the Dynamo had more shots than their opponents, and their record in those games improved to 9-5-4.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES:

  • FW Vicente Sánchez tied a career high with two assists. It was the third time in his career that he had multiple assists in a game, and the first time since Sept. 26, 2015 for Colorado at Houston.
  • Sánchez’s two assists of tonight gave him five on the season, matching his career high set in 2015 with the Colorado Rapids.
  • Sánchez recorded an assist for third consecutive game, extending his career-long streak.
  • Sánchez made his 18th appearance of the season when he came off the bench for MF Alex in the 63rd minute.
  • FW Alberth Elis scored his 10th goal of the season when he headed home a cross in the 69th minute. He became the sixth player in Dynamo history to reach double digits in a season and the second, joining Brian Ching, to do so in his first year with the club.
  • Elis scored in back-to-back games for the third time this season.
  • Elis made his 17th start of the season and his 24th appearance overall.
  • FW Romell Quioto scored his sixth goal of the season when he headed home a corner kick in the 85th minute.
  • Quioto scored his second game-winning goal of the season and his first since the season opener vs. Seattle Sounders SC on March 4.
  • Quioto started his 13th game of the season and made his 20th appearance in league play.
