The National Women’s Soccer League announced this afternoon that the Houston Dash will select sixth in Tuesday’s Dispersal Draft. The Dispersal Draft Orderwas determined by a random draw earlier this morning.

After announcing on Sunday that the Boston Breakers have ceased operations, the NWSL announced that a Dispersal Draft would take place on Tuesday to determine where the players under contract with Boston, as well as their 2018 draft picks, will play in 2018.

Roster sizes will remain unchanged for the 2018 season, with a minimum of 18 players and a maximum of 20 players required for each club. Players selected via the Dispersal Draft will not count against the club’s official player roster for the 2018 season and teams may add up to a total of four players. They will not count against the club’s salary cap for the 2018 season.

Teams that require an international roster spot for a contracted player or 2018 draftee selected will receive an additional international spot, which will stay with the player if traded during the 2018 season.
