Marcelo Palomino called into United States U-18 Men's National Team for games vs. Costa Rica

Houston Dynamo Academy midfielder Marcelo Palomino has been called into the United States U-18 Men's National Team for an eight-day domestic training camp from Feb. 4-12 in Orlando, Fla., featuring two games against their counterparts from Costa Rica.


Palomino, 16, is currently in preseason training with the Dynamo first team. He played and scored for the Dynamo in their first preseason scrimmage against UTRGV on Jan. 31 in Edinburg, Texas.


The camp is Palomino's third of the current of the 2018-19 cycle, after the player pool got an early start to the two-year slate of programming in November, followed by its inclusion in the first ever Men’s Youth National Team Summit at the beginning of the year.
