The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros’ Todd Wharton was selected to the USL Team of the Week for Week 3 of the 2018 season after his performance in the 2-2 draw against Sacramento Republic FC on March 31st.
Wharton scored the opening goal via penalty in the second half of the match against Sacramento. Wharton recorded two key passes, three tackles and completed 30 of 33 passes in the Toros’ 2-2 draw with Sacramento.
Todd Wharton is the first player to be selected to the USL Team of the Week this season. The RGV FC Toros hit the road for the first time and take on Colorado Springs Switchbacks on Saturday, April 7.
