Rachel Daly was named to the England Women’s National Team roster for a pair of upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying matches, the English Football Association announced earlier today.

England, currently ranked fourth in FIFA’s most recent world rankings, will travel to Wales on Aug. 31 and Kazakhstan on Sept. 4 as they look to qualify for their fourth consecutive Women’s World Cup.

Daly has earned 10 caps for the Lionesses, including two appearances in the SheBelieves Cup earlier this year. She earned her first senior cap on June 4, 2014 against Serbia, scoring on her international debut in a 7-0 England victory.

Daly and the Dash are in the Pacific Northwest today as they face Seattle Reign FC in a key matchup with major playoff implications for both squads. The third-year veteran has contributed to 11 of Houston’s 29 goals this season as the Dash sit one point from a playoff spot prior to tonight’s match.

Daly and Houston return to BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 25 to host Carli Lloyd and Sky Blue FC for fan appreciation night, presented by BBVA Compass. Tickets for the match start at $19 and are available at HoustonDashSoccer.com.
