Three Houston Dash players named to CanWNT roster for friendly vs. Brazil

Defenders Lindsay AgnewAllysha Chapman and forward Nichelle Prince were named to the Canadian Women’s National Team for a friendly against Brazil on Sept. 2, the Canadian Soccer Association announced earlier today.  


Agnew has tallied one assist in five starts for Houston. The defender has earned eight caps since making her national team debut in 2017.  


Chapman has started all fourteen games for Houston since being acquired on May 9. The Courtice, Ontario native has scored a goal and tallied two assists in 52 appearances for the Canadian Women's National Team.   


Prince has scored a goal and tallied two assists in 11 games started for Houston this season. This is the forward's second season with the club after being drafted with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft. The forward has scored six goals and added five assists in 38 appearances for the senior team.  


The Canadian trio and Houston return to BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 25 to host Carli Lloyd and Sky Blue FC for fan appreciation night, presented by BBVA Compass. Tickets for the match start at $19 and are available at HoustonDashSoccer.com
