Recap: Dash players report for national duty during break

Ahead of the Dash's final game of the 2018 season, several players reported for national team duty. Keep reading to find out what our players were up to during the break.


Jane Campbell and Haley Hanson - U-23 U.S. Women's National Team

Goalkeeper Jane Campbell and midfielder Haley Hanson joined the U-23 U.S. Women's National Team for this year's Nordic Tournament, which ran from August 29 - September 3 and in which the U.S. won first place.


Hanson saw action in all three games, coming on as a sub in the opening match against Sweden in the 62th minute of the U-23's 2-0 win. The midfielder then subbed on in the 66th minute of a 0-0 draw against England and logged the full 90 minutes in the team's closing 1-0 win against Norway. 


After going as an unused sub in the opening match, Campbell recorded two straight shutouts against England and Norway. 


Lindsay Agnew, Allysha Chapman and Nichelle Prince - Canadian Women's National Team

The trio joined the Canadian roster for a friendly against Brazil on September 2. Prince scored the game's lone goal in the 49th minute when she connected with a pass from Kadeisha Buchanan off a Janine Beckie free kick. The forward logged in 80 minutes during the 1-0 victory. 


Defender Allysha Chapman went the full 90 minutes. 


Rachel Daly - England Women's National Team

Forward Rachel Daly joined the Lionesses for a pair of FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifying matches during the break. Daly came on in the 88th minute of England's 3-0 win over Wales, which secured the team a spot in next year's World Cup in France. Daly then went on to earn the start against Kazakhstan and scored in the 35th minute of the 6-0 victory.
