Amber Brooks, Veronica Latsko and Adelaide United look to remain unbeaten as they travel to Sydney to face Sofia Huerta and Sydney FC on Thursday. Latsko scored her first W-League brace last week as she salvaged a point for Adelaide with a late second half goal against Perth Glory FC. Latsko has now scored four goals in her debut W-League season, the last two assisted by her Dash teammate Brooks who also anchors Adelaide’s back line. The center back has won 72 percent of her duels and has a 77.8 percent tackle success rate.

Huerta and Sydney FC snapped a three-game losing streak last Saturday and look to build on their 5-1 victory over Brisbane Roar at home.  Huerta tallied an assist after the right back dribbled to the end line and found Princess Ibini at the near post. A victory for Sydney FC would propel them into the top four spots of the W-League ladder and level with Adelaide.

Clare Polkinghorne and Brisbane look to bounce back on Saturday as they host the first place Melbourne Victory. A victory would place Brisbane within three points of the league leaders who had a bye week during Round Six.

Kyah Simon and Melbourne City FC return to action in Round Eight as they host Canberra United at AAMI Park.
