Houston Dash forward Rachel Daly was named to the England Women’s National Team roster by head coach Phil Neville for a training camp in Doha, Qatar from Jan. 14-22, the Football Association announced today.

Daly has scored three goals in 17 appearances for the Lionesses.  The Harrogate, England native most recently scored the final goal in a 3-0 victory over Austria on Nov. 8 as the Lionesses split a two-game stretch in the final FIFA window of 2018.

The forward was named the club’s Most Valuable Player on Oct. 12 after she scored a career-high 10 goals in her third season with the Dash. In addition to three NWSL Team of the Month honors this season, Daly was named to the NWSL Second XI on Sept. 20.

Selected sixth overall by the Dash in the 2016 NWSL Draft, Daly ranks second in club history with 19 goals. She has appeared in 63 games with 59 starts in her first three seasons, seeing time at both forward and right back for the club.
