Houston-area soccer fans are invited to Kick It with the Dynamo at a free preseason scrimmage between the Houston Dynamo and RGV FC at BBVA Compass Stadium. The scrimmage is free and open to the public, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. CST.
The scrimmage will be fans’ best opportunity to see the 2019 Houston Dynamo in a game-like situation before the team departs for Arizona to continue its preparations for the upcoming season, while also getting a first-hand look at many future Dynamo First Team players currently playing for RGV FC.
Off the field, fans can get geared up for the season with player-worn jerseys, shorts, coats, training gear and more at the annual Dynamo Charities Fire Sale. All proceeds from the Fire Sale go directly to Dynamo Charities, which leverages the power of the Beautiful Game to make Houston a better place. Dynamo Charities programs include Dynamo GOALS, an in-school program that teaches children the importance of living a goal-oriented life; the Science of Soccer, which uses soccer to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering and math principles; and the Dynamo Unified Special Olympics Team, which promotes inclusion and teamwork by pairing special-needs athletes with partner athletes in a professional soccer setting.
A private Select-a-Seat event will also be hosted for fans interested in learning more about ticketing options to enjoy the 2019 season at BBVA Compass Stadium.
All fans will also have the chance to participate in fun and exciting activations in and around BBVA Compass Stadium and to see and hear from their favorite Dynamo players.
