The National Women’s Soccer League announced today that the Canadian Soccer Association has allocated defender Allysha Chapman, forward Nichelle Prince and Sophie Schmidt to the Houston Dash for the upcoming season.

Additionally, the league announced that goalkeeper Jane Campbell is no longer allocated by U.S. Soccer.

Schmidt is one of five newly allocated players in the league for 2019. The midfielder was signed by the club through the NWSL Discovery Process on March 11. Schmidt is currently in Europe with Chapman, Prince, defender Lindsay Agnew and the Canadian Women’s National Team for a pair of friendly matches, later today against England in Manchester and against Nigeria on Monday, April 8 in Spain.

The Canadian contingent will return to Houston on April 10 as the Dash prepare for their first match of the year. The Dash will host USWNT co-captain Megan Rapinoe, Allie Long and Reign FC at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 14 at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets for the match are on sale and start at $15 at HoustonDashSoccer.com or 713-276-4625 (GOAL).
