The Rio Grande Valley FC Toros host San Antonio FC on Saturday for a Copa Tejas showdown (7:30 p.m. | ESPN +).

RGV FC look to bounce back after splitting points with LA Galaxy II at H-E-B Park last Saturday in a 2-2 draw. Maalique Foster equalized for the Toros in the 34th minute after he snuck past his mark and tapped a ball into the top left corner of the goal. Foster found Bryan Salazar in the 54th minute for the go-ahead goal and Salazar’s fifth goal of the season. A stoppage-time equalizer for LA denied the Toros their first victory in the series.

San Antonio FC enter Saturday’s game with one victory in their last four games. San Antonio have struggled offensively this season with only 14 goals in 11 games. Four players have scored 12 of the goals for the club, who have only scored once in their last three games.

This is the second Copa Tejas match for RGV FC after a 2-2 draw with El Paso Locomotive FC on March 23 in West Texas. San Antonio will look for their first point in the competition after they fell 1-0 to Austin Bold FC on March 30 in the state capitol.
