Here are three key points ahead of Saturday’s game:

1.    DALY RETURNS TO DASH – After helping England reach the third-place match at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and having served a one-match suspension for a red card, forward Rachel Daly has returned to the Dash and is available to make her first appearance for the club since May 11. Daly has made five appearances for the Dash this season and has scored three goals.

2.    DASH SEEK POINTS IN MARYLAND – The Dash will visit the Maryland SoccerPlex for the second time this season when they take on the Washington Spirit later today. The two teams met on June 22 and battled to a scoreless draw. Goalkeeper Jane Campbell recorded her third clean sheet of the season, while defender Betsy Brandon made her professional debut as a 91st-minute substitute.

3.    DASH FACE OFF AGAINST REVITALIZED SPIRIT – The Dash face a Spirit team who are currently fourth in the NWSL standings and who are welcoming back Women’s World Cup champions and United States Women’s National Team stars Rose Lavelle and Mallory Pugh. While a hamstring injury will likely keep Lavelle out of Saturday’s match, Pugh, who primarily played as a reserve for the United States, will likely play this weekend.
