The Houston Dynamo have loaned defender Sam Junqua, midfielder Eric Bird and forward Michael Salazar to Rio Grande Valley FC for their match against Reno 1868 FC later this evening, the club announced today.
The match is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. CDT kickoff at H-E-B Field and will be live streamed on ESPN+. The Toros will be seeking their second consecutive home win and sixth home victory of the season overall.
Bird will be returning to RGV for the sixth time this season. He has tallied one assist in 275 minutes for the squad in 2019.
Junqua has appeared in nine games for RGV this season, making nine interceptions and 17 clearances.
Salazar returns to H-E-B Park for the first time since signing with the Dynamo on June 10. The forward scored eight goals in 12 appearances for the Toros, his first season with the Dynamo USL hybrid affiliate.
