The Houston Dynamo have loaned defender Alejandro Fuenmayor, midfielder Eric Bird and forward Michael Salazar to Rio Grande Valley FC for their match against San Antonio FC later this evening, the club announced today.
The match is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. CDT kickoff at Toyota Field and will be live streamed on ESPN+. The Toros will be seeking their second consecutive victory over San Antonio after defeating their in-state rival 3-1 on May 25.
Bird will be returning to RGV for the eighth time this season. He has tallied one assist in 455 minutes for the squad in 2019.
Fuenmayor has made nine clearances and seven interceptions in four appearances for RGV this season.
Salazar joins RGV FC for the second time since signing with the Dynamo on June 10. The forward scored nine goals in 14 appearances for the Toros, his first season with the Dynamo USL hybrid affiliate.
