As the season heads towards the final stretch, the Houston Dash will look to earn their seventh victory of the year Sunday evening as they take on the Chicago Red Stars at 5:00 p.m. CDT at BBVA Stadium. A win tomorrow could push Houston closer to the playoff line. The team is currently sitting six points shy of a spot in the playoffs.

Here are three key points ahead of tonight’s game:
- KERR-DALY SHOWDOWN – Houston and Chicago both feature a dangerous and threatening offensive attack. Chicago’s forward and Australian captain Sam Kerr leads the league in goals with 13 in 16 games and scored a brace in the first 13 minutes during Houston and Chicago’s first showdown this season. Houston’s Rachel Daly, who currently leads the team with five goals, was absent in both meetings between the teams. The England international has been part of all six victories this season and will look to help Houston win the final game against Kerr and Chicago.
- EYES ON CAMPBELL – Out of Houston’s six wins, five have been anchored by a Jane Campbell clean sheet. The goalkeeper has posted 50 saves this season, having played every minute of every game, putting her in the top-three best in the league. The team has won only two times without a Campbell shutout this season which places the Georgia native as one of the league’s best goalkeepers. Campbell has emphasized the caliber of Kerr’s level and will focus on shutting down the Australian during Sunday’s match.
- LOOKING FOR PAYBACK – Houston’s season has been full of competitive matchups, but that isn’t reflected in the team’s current NWSL standing. Out of the team’s eight losses, six of them were decided by one goal. The Dash will look to get some payback against Chicago after the Red Stars’ two wins over Houston that came with a narrow margin. In their previous matchup back in July, Houston had more shots and held more possession than Chicago, but it was the Red Stars who took advantage of their opportunities and took home three points with a 1-0 win. Head Coach James Clarkson emphasized the importance of every game of the remainder of the season and will look to lead the team to their seventh win of the season.
