  • The Dynamo set a club record by extending their home shutout streak to 550 minutes before giving up a goal to San Jose F Chris Wondolowski in the 59th minute. Houston had not conceded a goal at BBVA Compass Stadium since the 49th minute against the LA Galaxy on April 15 and had kept clean sheets in each of the five previous league matches at BBVA Compass Stadium. The previous record was 545 minutes from June 7 – August 25, 2007.
  • Wondolowski’s goal was the first conceded by the Dynamo defense since interim head coach Wade Barrett took over the team in late May.
  • The draw gives Barrett a 1-2-6 record on the Dynamo bench.

  • MF Eric Alexander made his Dynamo debut coming on as a substitute in the 60th minute.
  • F Will Bruin made his 150th career MLS regular-season start.
  • MF Ricardo Clark surpassed 25,000 career minutes played in MLS regular-season contests in the sixth minute of tonight’s match. Clark returned to the starting lineup after missing last week’s match vs. Vancouver. He wore the captain’s armband for the second time in three matches.
  • D David Horst made his 125th career regular-season appearance.
  • MF Alex Lima scored his second goal of the season, tying a career high. It marks the third time in his five-year career that he has tallied multiple goals and the second consecutive season.
