Playing for the second time in five days, the Dynamo earned a win in the more important league contest despite falling behind to an early Landon Donovan goal. Craig Waibel tied the match with a header from a Brad Davis corner, and in the second half Dwayne De Rosario reacted first to a loose ball to slot past Kevin Hartman and give the Dynamo the win.despite playing with 10 players for the last 30 minutes. Pat Onstad made six saves to keep the Dynamo in front.
