What motivates you?
My family, they’ve put a lot of effort into soccer just like I have. So it’s nice to perform well for them, they come out to all of the home games and watch me online.
Who are your heroes?
My parents, they have always been there for me. They’ve driven a lot to take me to training and paid for a lot of soccer training. Without them I wouldn’t be here.
What is your favorite soccer movie?
She’s the Man. That movie is hilarious!
If someone would play you in a biopic who would that be?
Amy Poehler, because I can be loud and obnoxious at times.
What is your favorite book?
Into the Wild. The protagonist just leaves his job, money to live off nature.
What is the first song you sing at karaoke night?
I’ll Tell You What I Want by the Spice Girls.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would that be?
I would have steak, potatoes and asparagus and ice cream for dessert.
What super power would you like to have?
The ability to have laser vision. I’d be able to cook my chicken really fast.
Describe your perfect day.
Wake up, make breakfast, go on a hike – maybe something adventurous like a zip line or skydiving. Then go out to a few bars with my friends.
If you were stuck on an island, what two teammates do you want to have with you?
Tessa (Florio) and Denise (O’Sullivan). Denise will bring a good laugh in and Tessa is more of the one who will help us build a fire.
What are your goals for the next 5-10 years?
I’d like to play for the Dash for the next 5-10 years. Play for the U.S. national team is an obvious one, everybody wishes that and dreams that. I want to stay in one spot, I don’t want to move around too much. My main goal is to stick with the Dash as long as possible.
