Houston Dynamo forward Erick Torres is expected to miss 6-8 weeks after sustaining a Grade II MCL sprain in his right knee. Torres is on loan to Cruz Azul of Liga MX and suffered the injury on Tuesday in Cruz Azul’s 1-0 home loss to Toluca.
Torres will remain in Mexico City for rehabilitation with Cruz Azul. The Dynamo medical staff will continue consultation with the Cruz Azul medical staff throughout Torres’ rehabilitation.
