Houston Dynamo FC acquired $75,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money from FC Dallas in exchange for the right of first refusal for DF Sam Junqua.
Junqua finished with 51 appearances for the Dynamo in all competitions. The defender was drafted by the team with the eighth overall pick of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft. He is a product of the University of California, Berkeley and saw action in 68 games with 45 starts during his four-year career.
