STARTING XI NOTES:

  • The Dynamo are using their 15th different starting lineup in 15 games thus far this season.
  • MF Ricardo Clark can surpass 20,000 regular-season minutes played for the Dynamo if he plays through the 82nd minute tonight. He enters the game with 19,918 minutes played for the club.
  • Clark will make his 302nd career start in MLS regular-season play tonight. Clark became the 14th field player in MLS history to start at least 300 games on Sunday night at FC Dallas. Next on the list is Chris Henderson, who started 304 matches during his career from 1996-2006.
  • MF Alex is making the 101st start of his MLS career and his 15th of the season. He and DF Adolfo Machado are the only players on the team to have started every game this season.
  • An assist tonight would give Alex assists in back-to-back games for the second time this season. He also did so in the first two games of the year (March 4-11).
  • Alex needs two assists to become the 14th player in Dynamo history to record 10 career assists with the club.
  • MF Juan David Cabezas will make his 10th start with the Dynamo and his ninth in a row tonight.
  • DF A.J. DeLaGarza is set to make his 208th career start in tonight’s game.
  • GK Tyler Deric will make his 62nd career appearance in MLS regular-season play.
  • Deric needs three saves to reach 200 for his career in MLS regular-season action.
  • DF Leonardo will make his ninth consecutive start, his 12th with the Dynamo and the 92nd of his career tonight. He will be making his 97th career appearance in MLS regular-season play.
  • DF Adolfo Machado is starting his 15th consecutive game. He and M FAlex are the only two players to have started every game this season.
  • FW Mauro Manotas will make his 10th start of the season, equaling his total from the 2016 season.
  • Manotas can notch his second career away goal tonight and could score in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
  • Manotas needs two goals to match his scoring total of six goals from last season.
  • DF Dylan Remick will make his 50th career appearance in his return to the city where he spent the first four years of his career.
  • Remick will receive his 2016 MLS Cup Championship ring from Sounders FC head coach Brian Schmetzer prior to the game.
  • Remick will make his sixth start for the Dynamo and his second in a row tonight.
  • FW Erick Torres will make his 12th start of the season, his 19th with the Dynamo and the 63rd of his career tonight.
  • Torres needs three goals to match the club single-season scoring record of 13 set in 2008 by Brian Ching.
  • FW Andrew Wenger will make his third start of the season and the 86th of his career tonight.

SUBSTITUTES BENCH:

  • GK Joe Willis is on the bench after starting the last seven games. An appearance off the bench would be the fourth of Willis’ career as a substitute and his 60th overall.
