THE RESULT:

  • Moved Houston's record to 3-3-3 on the season.

TEAM NOTES:

  • The Dynamo have taken the lead in each of the first four away matches this season. The last time Houston held the lead in four straight games away from home was in 2013 when they had the lead in four consecutive away games from May 5 at LA to June 1 at Columbus.
  • The Dynamo scored first, striking in the 35th minute through MF Tomás Martínez. It was the sixth time this season that the Dynamo scored the game’s first goal, and they are now 3-1-2 when scoring the first goal.
  • The Dynamo and the Whitecaps were tied 1-1 at halftime. It marked the fourth time this season that the Dynamo were level with their opponents at intermission, and the team is now 1-2-1 this season when tied at the break.
