  • F Will Bruin passed Brian Ching for fifth place on the club list for regular-season appearances with 170. The forward came on as a substitute for F Erick Torres in the 60th minute.
  • MF Andrew Wenger is still the only player to make an appearance in every Dynamo game this season. The midfielder came on as a substitute for MF Cristian Maidana in the 61st minute.
  • Wenger took sole possession of first place on the team scoring chart with his fifth goal of the season in the 75th minute. That was his first goal since he scored in Portland on June 26.
  • Torres made his first appearance since July 23 vs. Vancouver. The forward was away with the Mexican national team at the Rio Olympic Games.
