The Dynamo earned a road point despite falling behind in the second minute when Peguero Jean-Philippe netted the quickest goal in New York franchise history by tapping in a loose ball from the top of the penalty area. Houston recovered when former MetroStar Ricardo Clark lined up a long-range shot that took a wicked deflection and spun past New York goalkeeper Tony Meola.
