Houston Dynamo players Anthony Arena, Jason Johnson and Michael Lisch continued a productive loan with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds last weekend. The trio was in the starting lineup as the Riverhounds secured a 3-1 victory over LA Galaxy II on Saturday at Highmark Stadium. It was Pittsburgh’s fifth win in its last seven games.

Lisch and Arena each played 90 minutes while Johnson featured for 72 minutes.

On July 25, the Riverhounds seized a 5-2 road win over Real Salt Lake Reserves at Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City. Johnson entered as a substitute in the 55th minute and scored his first goal of the season. Lisch and Arena each played 90 minutes for the Riverhounds.

Pittsburgh followed the win with a tough assignment, its second road game in a three day span. The club fell to Sacramento Republic FC on July 27 at Bonney Field in Sacramento. Lisch played the duration of the game in the 5-0 loss.

The Riverhounds remain at home to host Orange County Blues FC at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh. The Riverhounds are the USL PRO affiliate of the Houston Dynamo after the clubs formed an affiliate partnership for the 2014 season last November.
