The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced the official list of U.S. Women’s National Team allocated players for the 2017 season, which features Houston Dash midfielders Morgan Brian and Carli Lloyd, who is currently with Manchester City Women’s Football Club.

Brian has earned 66 caps with the USWNT and won the Golden Ball as the most outstanding player at the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship in Houston last February. The 23-year-old midfielder started in 13 games for the Dash last year.

Lloyd scored 17 goals, including two goals in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and assisted 11 others in 21 matches for the USWNT last year. Additionally, the midfielder scored five goals and tallied three assists over seven games with the Dash last season. FIFA named her The Best Women’s Player on January 9, making her the second American and fifth woman ever to earn the honor in back-to-back years.

In addition to Brian and Lloyd, the full allocated list for the Dash consists of Canadians Janine Beckie and NIchelle Prince. Allocated players are determined by their respective federation and their salaries do not count against the NWSL salary cap.

Lloyd, Dash forward Kealia Ohai and goalkeeper Jane Campbell will host Russia in a friendly at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 9 at BBVA Compass Stadium.  Tickets for the match and a special four game plan which includes tickets to three Dash matches are available at HoustonDashSoccer.com.
