The Houston Dash look to claim their first victory over Sky Blue FC since the inaugural meeting between both clubs in 2014. The Dash fell 3-1 to the New Jersey outfit at BBVA Compass Stadium last weekend, but travel to the East Coast for a rematch on the Lifetime NWSL Game of the Week at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Morgan Brian made her first start of the season after missing the first three games of the year due to a knee injury and then making her season debut as a substitute at Chicago earlier this month. Brian went 61 minutes in the game before giving way to Poliana. The Brazilian defender scored her second goal of the season and tallied a new career high for goals in a season after scoring one goal in her first NWSL campaign. Midfielder Andressinha returned to the field after recovering from a left hamstring strain, coming on as a second half substitute for forward Nichelle Prince, who earned her first start for the club last weekend.

Sky Blue FC, led by Raquel Rodriguez, Christie Pearce and Sarah Killion, snagged their second victory of the season last week and enter Week Six with a 2-2-1 record. Killion is tied for the most goals in the league with four
goals
this season and Rodriguez secured Sky Blue’s first victory of the season with a late goal against FC Kansas City last month.

With last Saturday’s victory, Sky Blue improved its record in the season series to 5-1-3 against the Dash. Sky Blue has only won one game at Yurcak Field this season and will look to expand its current unbeaten streak against Houston to nine games.
