The Houston Dash travel to Florida this Saturday for a Week 9 rematch with the Orlando Pride on Lifetime’s NWSL Game of the Week.

Houston dropped the first meeting in a six-goal contest where Dash forward Nichelle Prince scored her first goal for the club. Brazilian defender Poliana scored her third goal of the season and now leads the team in tallies. Both goals were generated by midfielder Andressinha who entered the game as a second half substitute after playing two matches for Brazil during the international window.

Dash midfielder Carli Lloyd tallied 73 minutes in her season debut. Lloyd, Prince, Janine Beckie, Andressinha, Denise O’Sullivan and Jane Campbell spent the full week with the team after returning from international duty prior to the first meeting between both teams.

Orlando enter Week 10 with a 3-3-3 record after defeating the Dash last Saturday. This will be the first encounter between both teams at Orlando City Stadium. Orlando holds a 4-1-0 advantage over Houston and is undefeated against the Dash in Florida.

The Dash will return to BBVA Compass Stadium on June 28 to host Boston for the club’s fourth annual Pride Night. Special Dash Pride Night ticket packages are available for only $25 and include one ticket to the match, as well as one Dash Pride tee. Portions of the proceeds from Dash Pride Night ticket packages sold will benefit The Montrose Center. Dash Season Ticket Members and Dash fans can also make a $15 ticket donation and receive a Dash Pride tee. For more information, visit HoustonDashSoccer.com/Pride.
