  • The Dynamo took a multi-goal lead in a game for the 10th time this season and the first time away from home. Houston is now 9-0-1 this season when taking a lead of two or more goals in a game this year.
  • The Dynamo scored first for the 12th time this season and the second time away from home when FW Andrew Wenger scored off of a corner kick in the sixth minute. Houston improved to 9-0-3 this year when scoring the game’s opening goal.
  • FW Andrew Wenger’s goal in the sixth minute was Houston’s fifth goal this season in the first 10 minutes of the game. The Dynamo improved to 5-0-0 this year when scoring inside of 10 minutes.
  • FW Mauro Manotas’ goal in the 15th minute gave the Dynamo 10 goals this season inside of the first quarter-hour.
  • Houston took a three-goal lead into halftime for the second time this season. The Dynamo led Real Salt Lake 3-0 on May 31 en route to a 5-1 victory.

  • Alex registered his eighth assist of the season and his first away from home when he served a corner kick in the sixth minute that FW Andrew Wenger headed into the back of the net.
  • Alex picked up his ninth assist of the year in the 15th minute when he fed FW Mauro Manotas for the game’s second goal.
  • Alex’s third assist of the game and 10th of the season came as a secondary assist when he played a backheeled pass to FW Andrew Wenger, who chipped a cross to FW Memo Rodriguez for the third goal of the game.
  • Alex's 10 assists on the year make him the first Dynamo player not named Brad Davis to record double-digit assists in a season (Davis did it seven times).
  • Alex made his 19th start of the season, his 58th with the Dynamo and the 105th of his MLS career tonight.
  • Alex picked up a yellow card in the 13th minute for a rough foul. It was his third caution of the season and the 18th of his career.
  • Alex continued his string of playing in every game this season. He and DF Adolfo Machado are the only players to have played every game this season for the team.

  • Remick made his ninth appearance of the season. It was his eighth start for the club and the 40th of his MLS regular-season career.
  • MF Charlie Ward made his Major League Soccer debut when he came into the game for MF Juan David Cabezas to start the second half. Ward was signed to the first team from RGV FC on June 30.
