The Houston Dash signed midfielder Kelly Conheeney as a discovery player, the club announced today.
The 26-year-old began the season with Sky Blue FC, where she scored one goal in 13 games last season. Conheeney was waived by the New Jersey club in April. The Virginia Tech product scored 26 goals and tallied 21 assists over 68 matches during her collegiate career.
Conheeney will join the club on their two-game road trip this week as Houston travels to Boston for a midweek game and across the country for a Saturday evening showdown with Portland Thorns FC.
