The Toros struck back quickly through Carlos Small who picked up the blocked shot from Jesus Enriquez and scored the Toro’s second of the match. Timbers 2 Max Ornstil blocked the initial shot but Small beat him to the loose ball and sent it to the bottom left corner, restoring the Toro’s lead, 2-1. Small’s goal marked his second goal coming off the bench.
