"I am excited to play in a city that is made up of both American fans and Latinos, every time I had the opportunity to play at BBVA Stadium, the fans displayed a lot of passion for their city and their colors".

The arrival of Dynamo head coach Tab Ramos has brought excitement, high expectations, and new signings. One of those new faces is defender Víctor Cabrera, who made his way to Houston after a trade with Montreal Impact.

With the arrival of Cabrera, Houston welcomes a dynamic player that enjoys a simple style of football and one that possesses an offensive mentality, something that Tab Ramos is looking for from his team in 2020.

"In the several Houston Dynamo games that I have watched I noticed that it is a team that likes to come out playing," Cabrera told HoustonDynamo.com. "That is definitely my style of play, in addition, I am very solid in the air - you can see all of my scars for reference," the Argentine defender added with laughter.

Cabrera is ready to be a part of the Houston community, join his teammates, and get used to an entirely different lifestyle in the south. "In Montreal, it is very cold and I know that Houston is the complete opposite, but I am confident that I will adapt to my new way of life quickly," Cabrera concluded.

Víctor Cabrera joins Zarek Valentin, Darwin Quintero, and head coach Tab Ramos as one of the many new faces that will make up the Houston Dynamo family heading into the 2020 Major League Soccer season.
