INDIVIDUAL PLAYER NOTES:

  • GK Marko Marić will earn his eighth start for the Dynamo and can earn his first win at BBVA Stadium. 

  • DF Adam Lundkvist will earn his 46th start in league play and make his 52nd appearance for the Dynamo.

  • Lundkvist leads players in the Western Conference in tackles won with 18 and has won possession 42 times this season. 

  • DF Maynor Figueroa will make his 33rd appearance for the Dynamo and 113th appearance in league play. 

  • Figueroa leads the team in clearances with 35 and is second on the team with tackles won at 12.


  • DF Kiki Struna will earn his 37th start for the Dynamo. 

  • Struna leads the team in blocks with nine and also leads the team in headed clearances with 16.

  • DF Zarek Valentin will earn his eighth start for the Dynamo and will play in his 140th career MLS regular-season match.  

  • Valentin is a key player in the transition to the opponents’ final third and leads the backline with successful passes into the attacking third with 61. 

  • MF Matías Vera will make his 38th start for the Dynamo.


  • Vera wore the captain’s armband again in Houston’s 5-2 victory in Kansas City on Aug. 25. 

  • Vera leads the team in interceptions with 17 and has won possession 38 times this season. 

  • MF Darwin Cerén will make his third start of the season and his 117th appearance in league play. 

  • Cerén will play in his 42nd match for the Dynamo today and make his third consecutive start for the club this season. 

  • MF Memo Rodriguez will make his 62nd appearance for the Dynamo in league play. 


  • Rodriguez needs one goal to tie Boniek García (13) for 12th and two to tie Erick Torres (14) for 11th on the club’s all-time scoring list.
  • FW Darwin Quintero will earn his 64th league appearance today. 

  • Quintero leads the team in chances created in 2020 with 14 and successful passes ending in the final third with 86.  

  • Quintero leads the Dynamo with three goals and four assists in 2020.

  • FW Christian Ramirez will make his third consecutive start for the Dynamo this season and fifthappearance in 2020.


  • Ramirez will make his 89th league appearance and can score in consecutive games for the first time since 2018 and first time with Houston. 

  • FW Niko Hansenwill earn his 53rd appearance in league play and second start for the Dynamo this season.

  • DF Sam Junqua can earn his second MLS appearance tonight if he enters the match. Junqua made his league debut on July 13 in Houston’s 3-3 draw with LAFC.

  • MF Tomás Martínez can make his 81st league appearance if he enters the game tonight.
