Alberth Elis may be new the Houston Dynamo and MLS, but he's no stranger to the Dynamo's 2017 opening opponent, Seattle Sounders FC.
The new Dynamo signing squared off against the defending MLS Cup champions last August in the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League while with Honduran powerhouse Olimpia, and showed well against the MLS competition. The 20-year-old forward scored in each of the matches against Sounders FC, a 2-1 loss in Seattle (above) and a 1-0 win in Honduras (below) on his way to winning the Best Young Player Award for the tournament.
